Nia is a mindful joyful movement and life style practice that blends the mindfulness of Tai Chi with the power and punches of Tae Kwon Do, the stillness of Yoga and the joyfulness of Dance
Done barefoot to exhilarating music, Nia has both form (Nia choreography) and free movement.

All movements in Nia are adapted to your Body’s Way of moving, guided by pleasure and the voice of your body, Nia is healing and nourishing for your Body Mind and Spirit

Nia Workshop

Do you find regular exercise classes boring / too aggressive for your body?
Do you love dancing and feel like you have two left feet?
You desire a relaxed loving space to dance without feeling self conscious about how you look 👀 or move?

Nia is playful – body friendly – both healing and conditioning at the same time. Nia is non-competitive and grows community

You get to move joyfully by moving your body’s way. All movements are adaptable to any age agility or fitness level. Nia is somatic-based barefoot movement done to inspiring music. 🎶

In this workshop you will learn a bit about its history and get a sneak peak into what’s behind this rich body of work in somatics. We will also go over some of the steps so you get to know its language of 52 moves.

What you need:
Clothes comfortable to move in – think dancing yoga. A bottle of water
